Founded in Wolverhampton in 1975 as part of T&S Stores plc, One Stop is a leading retail convenience store chain in the United Kingdom with 600 stores across England and Wales. Along with everyday essential items, One Stop Stores provide other services for customers including cash machines, postal services, national lottery, bill payment and home delivery of newspapers and magazines.
Following a successful pilot excercise using a small number of stores, One Stop decided that the rest of their store estate could benefit from Macro Space Optimization to make the most of the available store space and ensure it was correctly proportioned to the various categories found within the stores.
Galleria was tasked to work with the One Stop management team to provide space and category planning services using one of the retail solutions within its suite of products – Intelligent Store Optimization, or ISO. ISO enables retailers to produce targeted, store-specific space recommendations for every category in an individual store – quickly and efficiently.
