Coop Denmark A/S chooses Galleria to automate & optimize its merchandising strategy and improve the customer experience
Galleria Retail Technology Solutions, the leading provider of retail and category automation & optimization solutions, today announced that Coop Denmark A/S, the largest grocery chain retailer in Denmark, has chosen Galleria to help automate & optimize its merchandising strategy and improve the customer experience within its more than 1200 Danish stores.
Coop will roll-out Galleria’s Cloud based Customer Centric Merchandising solution through its family of supermarkets.
“Coop continues to grow in retail innovation by investing in technology dedicated to offering customers an outstanding retail shopping experience” states Ian Duncan-Lewis, Chief Executive Officer, Galleria. “We are confident that the implementation of Customer Centric Merchandising will enable Coop to streamline its business process and achieve its goals.”
“We are delighted to welcome Coop Denmark A/S as a partner and look forward to building a long and healthy relationship in the future.” Duncan-Lewis added.
“We are very excited about the partnership with Galleria and look forward to putting their Customer Centric Merchandising (CCM) solution into action." comments Lars Kejser Bob (inset), Head of Space Management, Coop Denmark A/S.
"This cooperation will enable us to better service our stores by improved merchandising strategy – with CCM’s advanced algorithms and calculations we will be able to analyze our micro-space at a cluster and store-specific level and subsequently optimize our facings and reduce wastage accordingly. The ability to create and deliver centrally determined assortments with a localized perspective represents our involvement within the local community and is imperative to the complete continuity of Coop group strategy.
With more than 1200 stores in our portfolio this would be a major undertaking without CCM.”
