Galleria's Micro Cluster Planner is an automated process which allows the retailer to cluster stores using both bottom-up and top down methods, resulting in detailed "what-if" analysis and accurate store clusters. The process is a two-phased approach with the first concentrating upon clustering and with the second considering clusters in relation to product assortment.

High level functionality includes:

•  Supports “top-down” clustering through a defined cluster hierarchy.

•  Supports “bottom-up” clustering through ID3 intelligence.

•  Specific user defined criteria drives the clustering algorithm.

Define cluster hierarchies by specifying the attributes to be used for each level and the number of hierarchical levels required e.g. Country, Region, Store Type.
